Patrick Tomlinson is a Director and Consultant specialising in Leadership and Organisational Development, and a Children’s Trauma Services Specialist.
He has co-created therapeutic models with organisations across the UK and internationally.
Beginning his career as a residential care worker, Patrick has held senior leadership roles including team leader, senior manager, Director and CEO. He is a qualified clinician, strategic leader and author of numerous publications focused on trauma-informed and therapeutic services.

His experience spans from 1985, primarily within trauma-informed services. He began working in a therapeutic residential community for boys who had experienced significant trauma and adversity. Since then, he has worked extensively across foster care, residential schools, and services supporting young people and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Patrick is known for supporting organisations to translate therapeutic principles into practical, sustainable models of care.
